Comment on Letterman Army Medical Center - San Francisco, CA written by: Galen G. 5 stars 05/17/2013 7:16AM 1986 was the year I had trauma surgery operation to correct retinal detachment in

both eyes. I was a military dependent at the time, and now in my adulthood I

request my medical records to be reviewed and determined if I am eligible for

disability benefits.

How can I submit medical records to

Comment on Letterman Army Medical Center - San Francisco, CA written by: John S. 5 stars 03/17/2013 11:04PM We are trying to assist my daughter with her birth certificate. Shawna Michelle Sanderson was born March 25th 1974 at Letterman Army Medical Center, I am her Father John Harrison Sanderson then enlisted in the United States Navy. Shawna's mother would be listed as Jerry Sue Sanderson. Can you help us or direct us in where to obtain her Birth Certificate?

Thank you
John Sanderson

Comment on Letterman Army Medical Center - San Francisco, CA written by: Bill W. 5 stars 04/23/2012 4:39PM I was stationed at the Presidio in 1958 - 1959 as a medic. I lived in the wooden barracks East of Crissy Field and worked in the Hospital on the Neurology & Psychiatric Wards.

I have many fond memories of the Presidio/Letterman Army Hospital, living on the Bay and listening to the fog horns and the many friends I make being stationed at the Presidio,

I remained in the Bay Area since being discharged in late 1959, living in San Francisco, Oakland and currently in Los Gatos..

Memories I will never forget and the Bay Area is truly "God's Country"
